Dress for class is strictly enforced. Dance apparel is necessary for the proper correction of the body. lf for any reason a student comes to class unprepared, he or she will only be allowed to observe class for that day.
- Classical Ballet – (1 hour class) any dark solid color leotard, pink tights and pink ballet shoes.
- Jazz & Tap – Leotards, sports bras, jazz pants, etc. All students are required to wear tights. See instructor or Upstate Dance Supply for shoe style and color
- Clogging – No specific dress code. Wear something loose and comfortable. Clogging shoes required. No jeans accepted.
- Preschool Students – All preschool students must wear a solid color leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes. Hair must be pulled up and off the neck.
- Hip-Hop or Boys Classes – wear whatever feels comfortable. NO JEANS!!l Hats are allowed. Sneakers only. Absolutely no flip-flops.
- Preschool Boys – White t-shirt, black shorts or pants, black ballet and tap shoes.
- Hair (STRICTLY ENFORCED) – All girls must have hair pulled up and off the neck and face. All students taking a one hour ballet class must have hair pulled back in a bun and securely fastened.
