Shining Stars Amateur- Community Service Projects

Shining Stars Amateur collected SUGAR for S.H.I.N.E with 55 pounds for the kitchen to make sweet tea. They collected over 100 items for Good Samaritan Health Clinic. Congratulations to Senior Jazz Company member, Rachel Wyatt on her recent selection to the Clemson Rally Cats Dance Team!! The Rally Cats are the official dance team of Clemson University. They attend the NDA Collegiate Nationals every April in Daytona, Florida. We are very proud of you Rachel…Go Tigers!!!

Elite Stars Perform at Furman University’s Dance Spectacular 2013

On March 22, 2013, the UCDC Elite Stars performed at Furman University’s Dance Spectacular 2013 presented by the Furman Dance Company. They were one of fourteen performances ranging from classical ballet, salsa, jazz, contemporary, and clogging. Good job Elites and a big thank you to Furman for the invitation to perform!

Amanda Compton Crowned Miss Anderson County Teen 2013

Gettys Middle School Pageant Performance

UCDC Hip-Hop Teams Hold Food Drive

For their Fall semester community service project, the Junior and Teen HH teams held a food drive during the month of December for the Piedmont Emergency Relief Center (P.E.R.C.). We were able to deliver 62 pounds of food to P.E.R.C. on December 22nd. I have attached a picture of the group.

Madison Capps Crowned Miss Wrenicycle 2012
