| Heather
successfully juggles the roles of Director, Choreographer, Teacher, and
Entrepreneur. As the owner/director of UCDC, she has produced, directed
and choreographed a countless number of shows, including twelve Spring
concerts, Annie, Get Your Gun, Grease, pageant production numbers and
many special events. She began her training in 1976 with Teresa Wilson
in South Carolina. Later she attended the Greenville Stage Company where
she danced, competed, and performed all over the United States. Heather’s
dreams of UCDC became a reality at the early age of 20 and now thirteen
seasons later, she has one of the most prominent and successful studios
in the Southeast. Heather continues her education by traveling extensively
throughout the United States studying,performing and teaching at dance
and clogging workshops. Her competition dance and clogging teams have
won platinum, gold, and overall titles in both regional and national
competitions. Recently, she received the honor from Dance Spirit Magazine
as one of the “Top 50” studios on the move in the U.S. Heather’s
drive and passion is for her students, parents, and staff to have the
best dance education and facility
in the business. Heather’s Motto: “Do not follow where the
