On Saturday night, February 12th 2011 – Senior Jazz Company Member, Sydney Freeman was crowned Miss Carolina Foothills Teen 2011. The pageant was held at Bryson Middle School in Simpsonville. The UCDC Jazz Companies attended Adrenaline Dance Convention March 4th-6th at the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta, Georgia. The Minis, Majors, Megas, Juniors and Seniors took classes from various professional instructors/choreographers all weekend and many teams auditioned for scholarship awards.
